The (profound) switch

I don't remember exactly where the switch from making art (for myself) and coming up with answers to problems through design (for others) happened. But the realization was profound and the switch was all the way engaged!

That's not to say I don't sometimes enjoy drawing and painting for the pure joy of it... I do. But the ultimate fulfillment comes from understanding someones pain point and coming up with a thoughtful approach through strategic design.
